You were unconventional in Your wisdom
You said that every law of God, was satisfied in love
You were as smart as they come, and You knew it
But You were more humble than any man could be,
You were driven by love

You would look a situation square in the face
And call it just for what it was, masking nothing else
And love (it) would direct every step You’d take on Earth
You were driven by love

You were unconventional in Your wisdom
You had neither riches nor desire for collectibles of Earth
But You sought the hearts of all with a passion
To turn those hearts to God, and show reality
You were driven by love

You would look a situation square in the face

And love (it) would direct every step You’d take on Earth
