On My Way

There I was; I had walked so far away that I didn’t seem to care
That you were there
I recall that even after you blessed me with a family, I couldn’t see
And as I sat upon my bed and finally asked you in, You came
Even though it took six long years to act upon that day, when I did
You were there
I’m on my way, on my way
Flash forward to the future and I’m sitting in your house starting to see
Your love in me
Even though I still have many questions my doubts are getting few
And far between
Now, I believe you are who you say you are
And that you are my bread, you are my life
I don’t care if they say that I’m throwing it all away
I want to give you my life now I can finally say
I’m on my way, on my way
